  • Days O'Grace

Hector’s fourth album with Wildgoose is now out and he has returned to his Scottish roots with most of the songs coming from Scotland. Read the reviews here and album notes here. Days O’Grace features Vicki Swan and Jonny Dyer with Moira Craig.

  • Selkie

Selkie was originally produced in cassette format at WildGoose Studios. It was later remastered and issued as a CD on the same label. Praised in the Folk Press, it is a compilation of Celtic flavoured traditional and contemporary folk ballads. Selkie is also the title of the duo of Hector and his long term singing partner Liz Thomson from Newtonmore, Highlands.

  • The Lea Rig

Ayrshire born, Hector has a particular affinity for the works of The Bard. The Lea Rig features an eighteen track selection of the songs of Robert Burns, performed by Selkie (Hector and Liz Thomson), with two bonus pipe tracks by Chris Thomson, Liz’s son. At the time he was a member of The Strathclyde Police Pipe Band.

  • Ingleneuk

Named after his boyhood home, Hector’s album Ingleneuk is a personal selection of songs associated with friends and places encountered along the way. Hector is supported on this recording by the talented folk duo Vicki Swan and Jonny Dyer, along with contributions from Steve Poole and Paul Sartin.
