I am a singer and guitarist based in Surrey, England. I perform in a variety of settings with a large repertoire that takes in Rock, Pop, Contemporary Folk, Jazz and Crooning standards. In short, any classic song that has a great melody and has undergone the filtration of time can end up in my repertoire! My original songs take in lots of these influences.
I perform at community organisations, clubs, parties, fetes, WIs, U3As, pubs with a ‘listening clientele’, rehabilitation groups, care homes and respite care centres where people enjoy a wide variety of music. In care environments chatting before and after my gig is very much a part of what I do and I love to ‘chin wag’, especially with people who were musicians themselves. I’m also happy to consider ‘unusual’ requests and I have played up trees, on boats and trains and dressed up in silly costumes – for a suitable fee of course!
I can tailor my programme to suit your needs. Popular themes include The Great American Songbook, Vintage 50s R & R, Cheesy 60s, Classic Crooners, Acoustic Rock and singer/songwriter contemporary Folk.
I also perform shows in aid of the Jubilee Sailing Trust, a fantastic charity that enables people of all physical abilities to sail together on tall ships.
